This page is reviewing the Foreman G-Broil countertop grill. If you want to get the George Foreman GRP72CTTS G-Broil grill supreme electric nonstick countertop grill with digital timer silver, Click Here.
Even though this specific design isn’t very cheap, it still comes with some interesting features that could be handy for you. Similar to so many other kitchen appliances today, the GRP72CTTS model includes grilling plates that are nonstick for easy cleaning.
Actually, the plates of this electrical unit are also dishwasher safe and completely removable – so theoretically, it’s possible to remove the double non stick plates and wash them in the handful dishwasher. However, it’s generally not advised to place the nonstick cookware in the dishwasher (that would eventually damage the important coating one way or another), so it might be smarter to wash the plates of the grilling machine in the sink instead (since they are also removable – it shouldn’t be that troublesome).
This digital grill includes two spatulas and additional two drip trays that should make it easier for the unit to drain the unhealthy grease that is generated while cooking. The sloped channels of the G-Broil unit were also designed in order to assist in the grease-draining process.
The George Foreman Digital Grill’s Size
On the other hand, the GRP72CTTS model has a 72 inch surface that may be sufficient for some people, but others would probably prefer a much bigger nonstick cooking surface. The good side of the product’s size is that it wouldn’t be difficult to store the unit, especially when you consider the fact that the side latches could be easily locked and allow the user to store a relatively compact and not big countertop appliance.
This G-broil grilling machine is able to cook and sear a wide range of foods in quite short amount of time, but one must take into consideration the fact that this countertop grill can emit some smoke – so a vent or an open window would definitely help in such situations.
Moreover, it actually has a digital timer that would essentially indicate to the user when the cooking time has ended. The digital timer is generally fine but it doesn’t turn the unit off.
Overall, the Foreman digital grill isn’t very cheap but comes with a nice contemporary design and a variety of features that could be worthwhile for you anytime you wish to cook on a countertop grilling product.
I have this grill (about 2 years now) and I LOVE it! I cook chicken and steaks in such a short time. And I love what it does with panni. However lately I have noticed that it takes longer to cook my meats. Today I cooked chichen cutlets which usually take about 2 or 3 min. and this time it took 5 min. and they still didn’t look all that browned. I am wondering if something could be wrong with it. I would appreciate any comments.
